APA Awards 2027

The Parliament proudly presents the second edition of the APA Awards, celebrating the hard work of those supporting the work of MEPs: Accredited Parliamentary Assistants (APAs).

This Award will honour the 27 most promising APAs – one per Member State – that had and will make a difference in the history of the Union.

The event will take place in an informal atmosphere, set against the backdrop of an elegant and sophisticated venue, providing the ideal setting to celebrate the accomplishments of APAs and the unique opportunity to connect with future EU leaders, and position your organisation within a dynamic political community.

The nominations for the second edition of the APA Awards will open soon.

Anyone can nominate one or more APAs.

Please note that the evaluation and judging will not be influenced by the number of nominations received for each nominee.

- Must be a current APA in the European Parliament
- Selection is based on nominee’s nationality, not the MEP’s they work with.
- Dual EU nationals may choose either nationality - Non-EU nationals may be considered; if over three are nominated, a 28th category for non-EU will be created.

All nominations will be reviewed and judged by The Parliament – together with APAs turned MEPs and/or other experts.

Trust in the integrity of the awards comes from transparency in the nomination and judging process. Importantly, sponsorship and judging of the awards are kept very separate with sponsors taking no active part in the judging process.

- Dedication and effectiveness in parliamentary work.
- Innovation in policy or administration.
- Contributions to the APA community and Parliament.

All winners will be revealed at the awards night.

Nominations are open from Tuesday, 30th June 2026 until 11:59 PM CET on Wednesday, 14th October 2026 to complete and submit all entries.

Yes – in your confirmation email, you'll find a personal link that allows you to resume and edit your application.

You are welcome to nominate as many candidates as you wish, whether they are from the same Member State or from different countries.

Kindly note that multiple nominations for the same person will not impact the evaluation. Each submission will be reviewed based solely on the candidate's merits.
