Circular Economy Forum 2026

2026 will be a pivotal year for Europe’s transition to a circular economy. The landmark Circular Economy Act will seek to create a coherent single market for secondary raw materials and reduce regulatory fragmentation across the EU, while the EU Water Resilience Strategy aims to accelerate the shift to a water-smart economy, modernise infrastructure and improve efficiency.

At the same time, Europe is advancing sustainable product rules and digital product passports under its wider circular policy framework – embedding durability, reparability and traceability into everyday goods – and addressing the growing resource and water footprint of data centres and digital infrastructure.

The Parliament’s Circular Economy Forum 2026 brings together EU policymakers, regulators, national authorities, industry leaders and civil society to explore how these landmark policies can deliver in practice – and ensure Europe builds a competitive, circular economy.
