Made in Europe Innovation: Decarbonising mobility today

At a time when Europe is seeking practical ways to decarbonise road transport while strengthening industrial competitiveness and strategic autonomy, renewable fuels and advanced hybrid systems are gaining renewed momentum. By building on existing infrastructure and Europe’s engineering expertise, these complementary solutions can help accelerate emissions reductions while supporting a competitive and resilient industrial base.

As the debate on the future of road transport evolves, this exhibition, hosted by MEP Raúl de la Hoz Quintano at the European Parliament in Brussels, will explore how a technology-open approach can turn ambition into immediate impact. What role can renewable fuels and hybrid systems play in reducing emissions today? And how can Europe harness its engineering strengths to lead the next phase of sustainable mobility?

From 2 to 4 June, drop by the third floor at the European Parliament (next to the VoxBox) to:

  • Explore a real next-generation hybrid powertrain engine, designed to maximise efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions using renewable fuels
  • Calculate your own ‘drive impact’, understanding how much real-world CO2 emissions you could reduce
  • Test your knowledge through an interactive myth-busting quiz on renewable fuels, hybrid engines and their role in the energy transition

Join the opening ceremony on Wednesday 3 June at 17:50 to explore how innovation, engineering and a diversified technological approach can help shape the future of sustainable mobility in Europe.
