Water resilience: shaping collective action

Water is rising on the EU political agenda as an essential resource increasingly threatened by climate change and human activity. In her political guidelines, the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen emphasised the need for a European Water Resilience Strategy to manage sources effectively and address scarcity, while the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) has renewed its call for an ‘EU Blue Deal’.  We will explore the challenges to preserving water resources, and we will learn from natural mineral water producers’ long experience in sustainable water management and biodiversity preservation through collaborative actions.

Join us to discuss the key role that the EU can play in fostering water resilience and multi-stakeholder collaboration, as well as the importance of public-private partnerships in safeguarding healthy water cycles.
